The Muslim UK Society

Muslim UK citizens have been there for a long time. Most of them migrated there to seek better opportunities, concerning their careers. There are Muslims in UK from many parts of the world. A lot of them are from Asia, especially Indians and Pakistanis. There are obviously no Muslims of origin in the UK. But a good number of them are Muslim converts.

They constitute a small number compared to the entire British Muslim population. Yet, they are considered important contributors to the cultural value and diversity of the country, and not only that: Muslim UK residents have contributed greatly to the social, economical and political scene in the country.

It's great to see people work together no matter the race or religion, and it's even more pleasant to live in a country where, if you work hard, you can slowly climb the social ladder. Many of them have chosen honorable professions like law, medicine and businesses. The second generation Muslims are now putting in a lot of effort to study hard.

They will use this opportunity to become a part of the high class British society.Besides the youngsters, some British Muslims still live in a poor condition, another clue to the fact that Muslims in UK can be found in all layers of society. Those persons unfortunately do not have much education to their background, and have been doing menial jobs to survive.

The UK being a very important European country, they strongly uphold the values of democracy and especially human rights. That's why many people from less fortunate countries come in waves to the UK, and can they be blamed? It is a beautiful country, rich in history and culture.

This Muslim community is also responsible for putting in their support, when London was elected for the 2012 Olympic Games. The British government also approves of the teaching of Islam in certain schools. This means that imams can be trained in UK universities, instead of importing them from Muslim countries. This is also a great leap for Muslims and also Islam.

Though several British universities have requested that the government ban the use of veils, it has not been done till now.As with most Muslim societies, in UK too, they have Muslim organizations that cater to the needs of Muslims. These organizations will take part in uniting all the Muslims in the country. They also work towards spreading the word of Islam.

They even indulge in charity work, and help all the needy Muslims. It's important though to know that Muslim UK stands for a nice improvement to cultural diversity, and it's always a good point no matter how much cultural diversity the country already has.
